Kyiv Golf Club was founded in 2008 as part of the GolfStream investment project.
Today, the Club includes 36 holes of professional golf courses, the Club House, a unique panoramic Driving Range, which houses a professionally equipped Golf Academy and training grounds with many opportunities for recreation and sports.
The golf courses of the Club are designed in accordance with the standards of the USGA and the international rating system "Slope System", as well as in accordance with the recommendations of PGA European Tour experts.
The chief architect of the golf club is Peter Chamberlain, chairman of the Peter Chamberlain Golf Course Development, a golf development consultant for PGA Europe and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, a founder member of the Swedish Golf Course Architects Association, a member of the Tournament Field Advisory Group.
The Club's golf courses are based on seven playing routes, including the picturesque traditional Academic Park Course, the classic Club Course based on natural Scottish golf design, the original Centaur Course and others. The pearl of the golf club is the champion 18-hole Chamberlain Course (Chamberlain Field, par. 72, length 5 914 m from the yellow tees, 6 853 m from the black tees). This route embodies the new aesthetics of the golf course - "wild", unbridled, with complex terrain and many obstacles. There are all kinds of traps - sand, forest, field boundaries, protected areas; an impressive number of water obstacles. Greens are often located under the attacked surface or at an angle.
Every year Kyiv Golf Club "GolfStream" holds international, thematic, corporate and weekly regular tournaments, implements programs for promotion of golf among beginners, trains adults and children in golf schools, conducts a summer children's golf camp for juniors, initiates special projects for the development of golf culture (online school of golf rules, golf festival based on social network users, etc.).
The most famous annual club tournaments include the Kyiv Open Golf Tournament for the Kyiv Cup, the Club Team Cup, the Presidents Cup: Match play of Ukrainian and international teams, the Ukrainian-Japanese Sakura Open Cup, the Magic Night, the Golf Forever Family Tournament and others.
The fields of the Club hosted qualifying rounds of famous international tournaments, such as BMW Golf Cup International, Deutsche Bank Cup, World Golfers Championship, European Footballers’ Golf Classic, Mercedes Trophy Golf Weekend. World-famous junior golf brands such as Little People’s Golf Championship and U.S. KidsGolf also cooperate with the Club.
In 2012, Kyiv Golf Club hosted one of the qualifying rounds of the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) women's professional series. This competition became an outstanding event in domestic golf - as the first qualifying tournament in Ukraine for the elite European golf tour. A number of official club tournaments are included in the EGA calendar and the world ranking of amateur golfers WAGR, which testifies to the recognition of golf courses "GolfStream" at the highest international level.
